Vivian J. Malone

In 1995, Vivian Malone donated the 145-acre Malone Preserve to the Natural Area Preservation Association, now known as the Texas Land Conservancy. The Preserve has woodlands, pocket prairies, riparian bottomlands, and 1700 feet of frontage along the Nolan River. Her goal was to protect the lands for its habitat and the opportunity it offers for hiking, birding and nature photography.
