Description

Bob Brister was a prominent outdoor writer at the Houston Chronicle, where he served as outdoor editor from 1954 through 1993. In addition, he served as the shooting editor for Field & Stream magazine. He was also a strong supporter of the Gulf Coast Conservation Association, and spoke out for ethical hunting.
