Description

Pat Suter, a former chemistry professor at Del Mar College, and her husband, Hans Suter, a staff member at Celanese, worked together on many conservation efforts and groups, including the Coastal Bend Sierra Club, Coastal Bend Audubon Society, Coastal Bend Bays Foundation, Corpus Christi Botanical Society and other organizations. The Suter Wildlife Refuge is located in Corpus Christi and features wetlands and a board walk that affords good viewing of coastal and migratory birds.
