Dr. Henry Hildebrand was a pioneering fisheries biologist who founded the Marine Science program at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi, and pursued critical research on marine ecosystems in Texas and the Gulf, including studies of shrimp, blue crab, oyster, shark, red tide, industrial impacts, and sea turtles.
