Topics
Description
Hana Ginzbarg worked as a chemist and teacher, and volunteered to help create the 3947-acre Armand Bayou Nature Center in 1974. Later, in 1979, she and her husband, Arthur Ginzbarg, helped found the nonprofit, Friends of Bellaire Parks, which raised money to buy the 3.75-acre Henshaw Estate in southwestern Houston. This property, now known as Russ Pitman Park, hosts the Hana and Arthur Nature Discovery Center.
Location Notes
Given Ms Ginzbarg's effort to set up the Hana and Arthur Nature Discovery Center, it seems appropriate to propose a marker at the Center: 7112 Newcastle Street; Bellaire, Texas 77401
