Description
Geyata Ajilvsgi was an expert in plants and butterflies native to Texas. She is celebrated for creating butterfly profiles, compiling nectar and larval food source lists, rediscovering the rare Texas trailing phlox, producing her books, Wildflowers of Texas (1984), Butterfly Gardens for the South (1991), Butterfly Gardening for Texas (2013), and generally, for her work advocating use of native plants to create wildlife-friendly landscapes.
